Reframed a platform-simplification effort from “make it cleaner” into a concrete target — a platform where AI agents and junior engineers can safely make and ship changes. I separated reducible complexity (deprecated types, dead payment providers, zombie endpoints) from load-bearing domain complexity that must be understood before it’s touched, and assessed each compartment of the platform independently rather than reaching for a single “replace it all with vendor X” answer.
